About Alisha
Hi, I'm Alisha, a second-year university student studying Dentistry. From a very young age, I have always been infatuated with scientific concepts and real-life maths. I therefore want to share my passion through helping you ace your exams! With the current unprecedented times, there has been lots of missed education and consequently huge knowledge gaps therefore it's important now more than ever to take action and to take control back of your learning. From moments to the solar system, I cover it all as well as a large selection of exam boards. Having studied A-level Physics and achieving one of the highest grades, I have an excellent understanding and passion and therefore aid students in enhancing their performance in physics! Lesson structure: My lessons are based on application learning to aid understanding and learning whilst also instilling the necessary skills to approach associated questions in an exam scenario. * I implement the TQA mechanism whereby I teach the topic or content and fill in any gaps which may be present in the student's understanding. By doing this I set the standard of what the individual needs to know to be able to be successful in tackling that topic in an exam situation. *I then provide hand-selected practice exam and non-exam questions to further enhance and re-emphasise the key aspects of the topic and to gauge understanding. *I conclude with the answers and discuss how the individual feels with the topic allowing me to make a tailor-made teaching plan for the student moving forward, this will usually take up to the end of the lesson and after this we can progress or continue practising. * My lessons are 60 minutes long so are enough to keep you awake and active without tiring the brain out. * I have achieved As and A*s in my GCSEs and A-levels and I can help all students do the same and maximise their potential. Through hard work success is nearly always guaranteed Ed. * I teach from year 6 up to A-level. Lastly, I am also truly dedicated to each and every student; with my vision I want to be able to help every student achieve what they are capable of achieving. With 1-1 teaching, learning has never been so intuitive. Thank you for reading and keep on learning!

Alisha is an incredible tutor who is determined to help every student excel in Maths and Science. I can most definitely affirm that Alisha has an exceptional style in teaching. She has a good grasp and in depth understanding of the content and doesn’t over complicate what she teaches.
