Brief Bio and Qualifications:
- Completing my residency in a doctoral psychology program (i.e:, will receive my doctorate in August of 2018)
- Previous tutoring experience for elementary and middle school age children in preparation for next grade and for those struggling with current schoolwork
- Previous experience with SAT tutoring
- Extensive childcare experience and CPR/First Aid certified
- Intensive experience with individuals with limited capacity for frustration tolerance
- Current career requires excellent writing skills (e.g., forensic assessments for testifying in court hearings) so I can provide highly efficient editing assistance with college and graduate level essay assignments
- Experience with providing feedback and editing on cover letters and resume/curriculum vitae preparation
- Additional experience with mock interviews
Specialities with regard to subject matter include:
- elementary, middle and high school math, along with basic statistics (ability to make math more enjoyable through easy to learn techniques)
- Writing assignments for high school and college levels as well as for elementary, middle, and high schools
