About Eric
Hi, my name is Eric! I'm a native Floridian and proud Duke University alum. I graduated Summa Cum Laude (highest honors) with a 4.0 GPA, majoring in Computer Science + Premedicine and minoring in Biology + Computational Biology & Bioinformatics.
I'm a fun, friendly, and patient mentor with experience communicating complex ideas, adapting to different learning styles, and building trusted mentorship relationships. I've spent half a decade tutoring standardized tests and college applications to help my students achieve their college dreams. I've also taught machine learning at the college level.

I have 5+ years of experience developing a personalized approach that brings out the best in each student throughout their college admissions journey. My students have gotten into schools ranging from Ivy League universities like Yale and Brown, to private research schools like NYU and UChicago, to state schools like the University of Florida, to art schools like Pratt Institute. My all-in-one college advising and mentorship approach combines standardized test preparation (PSAT, SAT, ACT) with college admissions consulting to help students build and communicate their unique college profile.
My standardized testing tutoring helps students tackle the new suite of digital PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams by emphasizing an understanding of the “why” behind concepts, skill recognition, and mental flexibility. My curriculum includes a diagnostic-driven study plan, 1-on-1 content and strategy preparation, and curated practice content and mock tests.
For college admissions, I work with each student to identify their genuine strengths, interests, experiences, and potential—and then help them communicate those qualities authentically.
My advising follows an organized timeline for building a “college narrative”: brainstorming activities and opportunities, developing a cohesive college profile, putting that story on paper through application review and live/asynchronous essay workshops, and preparing for college interviews.
