About Asia
I have majored in English, Afrikaans, Urdu and Arabic. I love English Literature and I hope you do too. I have taught English at primary school level and Afrikaans at High school for 23 years. Students have enjoyed my lessons because I do my best to incorporate their experiences and levels of understanding in my teaching

I prefer the interactive method of teaching which requires the student to have done some prep ahead of the lesson. Where the subject being approached is being introduced, I try direct instruction, sometimes you just have to tell the story and then check what was comprehended or understood. I also like doing follow up exercises to evaluate what has been learned.
