About Apimaan
My name is Apimaan - and I am currently doing my intercalation (year out) from Medicine for my Masters in Clinical Education degree at the UEA. I have been tutoring for close to 5 years now - and have mainly taught sciences and maths (primary school level to A-level). Growing up in a family of tutors, I have always had an interest in teaching especially within maths and science subjects. With my dad as a role model and plenty of experience teaching inside and outside my course, I have been able to hone my teaching ability to effectively prep my students for exams, ensure they improve their test scores and achieve grades they didn't think they'd achieve before.

Having also sat such exams myself relatively recently with good marks, I believe I'm in the best position to teach the aspects of exams that aren't taught in schools. Every student is different - and my job is not just to bombard them with mountains of information, but work out HOW they learn best and teach them holistically, in that respect. While at the start of the year lessons will centre around accumulating knowledge, as the year progresses I tend to sit with my students and go through exam papers and technique with them. So far, this hands-on approach has been very effective, and students have been satisfied thus far. I look forward to teaching this year, and hope my services come in handy for all the students I look after.
