About Roland
I've been giving tuition for 15 years now, both privately and at agencies. As a student I gave tutorials for my fellow students. I have taught both individually and groups, however, private lessons are more fun. Especially memorable is a boy from Darmstadt, who had electrical engineering in vocational school and was struggling with math, electrical engineering and physics. After about 3 months of 1,5 hours each week, his scores improved dramatically from nearly failing to best of his class, and remained there until the end of his apprenticeship. That pleased me a lot - I still remember him fondly.

My job is to make complex stuff easy to understand. If you do not understand something, I just have to explain again, but differently - to just repeat the same thing again is stupid. I look very cafrefully into each student - where exactly is the difficulty, and how do we get past in the best way? What exactly causes you problems? And how do we solve them? I am only satisfied when the fog is lifted, the penny has dropped and you have understood what you wanted to understand.
