About Ruth
I graduated with First-Class Honours from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Education Degree.
I am an elementary school teacher, currently working for the Halifax School Board. I have been teaching for the last 6 years in China, Annapolis Valley, Calgary, and Halifax.
I have taught students from the ages of 5-18 and love the moments when I get to spend some one on one time with students. This is the reason that I am so interested in tutoring, I would love to be able to spend one on one time with students to truly help them, get to know them, and encourage their growth.

I am excited to teach and work with students of any age and any English fluency level. The lessons will be tailored to the individual's age and their current level of English comprehension.
I find that manipulatives and games make language learning more fun and the content is more easily retained through play.
