My Approach as a Science Tutor
Teaching Method and Techniques
I use hands-on, inquiry-based learning to make science engaging and relatable. My lessons include simple experiments, visual demonstrations, and real-life examples to help students understand core concepts. I emphasize critical thinking by encouraging students to ask questions, make observations, and solve problems.
Typical Lesson Plan
1. Introduction (5-10 minutes): Start with a fun fact or question to spark curiosity.
2. Core Lesson (20-30 minutes): Explain new concepts using visual aids, videos, or simple experiments.
3. Practice and Application (20-25 minutes): Guide students through problem-solving exercises, discussions, or hands-on activities.
4. Wrap-Up and Recap (5-10 minutes): Summarize key takeaways and assign short tasks to reinforce learning.
