About Jacob

I'm a Computer Engineering graduate from Purdue University with 2 years of engineering and tutoring experience. Having gone through a gauntlet of challenging courses and preparing for standardized tests in my past, I'm fully capable of creating a robust and unique curriculum structure for any student's needs. I'm available for both online and in-person tutoring sessions. I provide a FREE consultation and 30-minute session for first-time students.

About the lesson

I like to respect the perspective of any student I teach. I consider your unique approach and thinking style and then format a lesson plan customized specifically for you. For instance, if you understand topics visually or graphically better, I will use your preferred platform or a whiteboard to draw graphs, diagrams, or charts to help reinforce your learning on a subject. My experience with taking multiple university-level courses in mathematics, physics, and engineering provides me with proficient knowledge of the courses I teach.

He’s great at presenting the information in many different ways if you don’t understand the first time; for example drawing diagrams, making examples and breaking it down into more steps. He helped me visualize what was actually happening even in abstract equations which helped with my deeper understanding of the concept, not just the surface of how to solve the problem.
