My approach to tutoring involves students actively challenging themselves through problem-solving. I believe students learn best when they are challenged to think, make mistakes, and refine their reasoning, rather than simply being shown solutions.
A typical lesson will involve some explanation of the topic, and the length of the explanation depends on how well you understand the foundational concepts. After that, I start with a small amount of simple questions just to warm up, then do difficult problems with a time limit depending on difficulty.
My lessons are for year 11 and 12 advanced maths, physics, engineering and other topics with a heavy math content.
