About Jeanne
I am a French engineering graduate with a strong background in mathematics and four years of experience as a private maths tutor in Paris, alongside my engineering studies. I studied in a highly selective scientific preparatory programme before completing a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering. I really enjoy teaching and helping students gain confidence in mathematics. I am patient, organised and very methodical, and I always adapt my explanations and exercises to each student’s level, difficulties and objectives. I can teach in both French and English, from school level to more advanced mathematics.
As I previously worked as a tutor through Acadomia rather than Superprof, I do not yet have reviews on this platform. However, I would be happy to provide references from families I have worked with in France, with their permission.

My approach is very methodical and structured, with a strong focus on practice. I believe that understanding mathematics comes from applying the concepts learnt in class through exercises. I help students develop clear methods for approaching each type of problem, understand which concepts and formulae to use, and practise them until they become confident and independent. My lessons combine course review, methodology and plenty of practical exercises, adapted to each student’s level and needs.
