About Kerry
I have been a Teaching Assistant for the past year and have extensive experience working one to one with pupils to help prepare them for their exams. I spent my time as a TA/Tutor helping students prepare for their written subjects focusing of revision strategies and ways to pick out the key points for different essay questions. The subjects I specialise in are English/Humanities and also some areas of maths. The key is revision skills and understanding the best ways to tackle the questions at hand. Throughout my experience as a Tutor I have learned that in order to be successful in bettering your understanding of a subject you have to relax and be prepared to continue making mistakes until you better your understanding of the areas you find challenging. I have a BA Degree in English Literature which has given me experience working on the works of the greats tackling and examining the power of written words . If you are a language learner I can help you learn the basics and the more intense areas of the English Language focusing on reading/writing/listening and speaking. All of the lessons are planned around the needs of the pupils.

Kerry helped me prepare for my English Language GCSE paper 1 and 2. We spent two months focusing on the writers agendas and understanding the differences between writing styles. Kerry helped me to better my understanding of the Literature and Language papers when I was preparing for my GCSE examinations. She was very friendly and honest with me when we worked together.
