About Kayla

I graduated with my Bachelor's in English in 2019 from St. John's University in New York and received my Master's in English the following year. I try to connect what we learn with the world around us to help build connections and strengthen skills.

About the lesson

I like bringing in pop culture and other modern influences into the classroom to show connections between what we read and the world to show connections. As someone who focuses on literature, I can also provide tips for essays to help strengthen writing.

Kayla is a very experienced tutor, she can help you with any writing needs. She is very knowledgeable on all subjects and has helped with structuring, when I’ve had no idea where to start. She is witty and understanding, no matter what level you are on. I definitely recommend Kayla.
