About Dasha
I’m currently pursuing my master’s at the National University of Singapore after completing my undergraduate degree in South Korea. Living and studying in different countries has made me curious about languages, cultures, and the different ways people communicate. I enjoy meeting people from diverse backgrounds, reading, traveling, and having conversations that help me see things from a different perspective. These experiences are what inspired me to start teaching and share the language that has opened so many opportunities for me.

I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to learn English because everyone learns differently. Before we start, I’d like to understand why you’re learning English and what you hope to achieve. Some students want to prepare for IELTS or TOEFL, others need help with school, work, or simply want to feel more confident speaking.
My lessons are built around your goals and interests. Rather than spending the whole lesson doing grammar exercises, we’ll use English in real conversations, discuss topics you enjoy, read articles or short texts together, and work on mistakes as they come up. I believe that’s how confidence grows naturally.
Since I’ve been through the process of learning English myself, from school and language exams to university studies in English, I understand the challenges and know that making mistakes is part of learning. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and speaking without fear of being judged.
