About Eunsung

Learning a new language may seem challenging at first. While there’s no easy way to do it, there are certainly more enjoyable ways. And You’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up Korean this way!

I have been living abroad since 2013. As a native Korean speaker born and raised in Korea, I have tutored many non-Korean speakers from various backgrounds. Through these experiences, I realized that learning a language doesn’t always have to happen in a formal setting or with a textbook. In fact, I learned English primarily through daily conversations with friends I met around the world.

While attending college in the United States, I gave private lessons to friends who were interested in learning Korean and exploring Korean culture (thanks to BTS!). Most of the time, we simply hung out and chatted together—but only in Korean. It was far from boring and turned out to be one of the fastest ways to learn a language.

About the lesson

Perfect! Eunsung did a great job to prepare me for a trip I am taking to Korea. He listened to what I wanted to get out of the lessons and matched his teaching style to fit my goals. He taught me the basics of the language very thoroughly and clearly. In the span of just a few classes, he gave me the all the tools I needed to put together basic sentences in Korean that might help me as an American tourist. I very highly recommend Eunsung for learning Korean!

What makes Eunsung a trustworthy teacher is his feedback when taking his classes. He will let you know how you're progressing and what you need to work on. What I really like about Eunsung is how he teaches Korean grammar, something that some Korean language teachers don't really touch on.
