About Tommy
Despite having worked as a French teacher at one of the top Prep schools in the UK (The Dragon School, Oxford), and having tutored for many years during my MA in French at the University of Edinburgh, I am still only 24. In this way I feel I can create a good rapport with pupils to maximise their desire to come to each lesson and give their all.

My main focus is working through the syllabus in a methodical way, but ensuring that we maintain relevance (drawing from current affairs and cultural/sporting references) and, of course, fun! As an experienced tutor specialising in French, I help students build confidence and master challenging concepts. I focus on clear explanations, fostering problem-solving skills, and tailoring sessions to individual needs, ensuring measurable progress and success in exams.
