About Rebecca
I have taught 6th through 8th grade in all subjects specializing in science and language arts. My background includes teaching art, STEM, reading and writing. I tutored for a year in Hawaii through a company, and also tutored in the after school program for many years.

My teaching approach is to find out what level the student has mastered and where they need help. I show them how to do something, and then have them try it on their own. Praise is important for students to feel comfortable, and mistakes are part of learning.
