About Jennifer
I have a bachelor's degree in International Business from Thomas College, where I tutored in College Math & also in Statistics, working for the College's Center for Academic Support. I am also a mother of 4, and have helped my children with math, giving me experience with core curriculum basics and new math teaching techniques. I also have experience working with children with ADHD/ learning disabilities.

Above all else, I believe in teaching HOW to learn. I believe in finding the best way that my clients learn, rather than forcing them to learn only one method. Understanding math can be hard if you are missing key foundational skills. Sometimes it's just a matter of reinforcing fundamental learning & the rest will start to make sense more quickly. I have a child with ADHD/ learning disabilities & understand the importance of working with patience to develop habits of learning, while also teaching how to apply learned skills to new problems.
