I'm a dedicated and passionate mathematics tutor with a background in both education and professional practice. Alongside holding a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics, I am an ACA qualified accountant with 10 years of experience, and I bring a unique perspective to my teaching by integrating real-world applications of mathematical concepts.

Teaching Methodology:
My teaching approach focuses on mathematics mastery and understanding the 'why' behind mathematical concepts rather than just rote learning. I identify and address student misconceptions, ensuring a solid foundation in all areas of GCSE Maths. I connect mathematical concepts to real-world applications, drawing from my extensive career in accounting to make lessons engaging and relevant.
Lesson Structure:
Each lesson typically lasts for 60 minutes. During this time, I employ a variety of teaching techniques, including interactive problem-solving, real-world examples, and tailored practice exercises to reinforce learning.
Qualifications and Experience:
I hold a PGCE specializing in Secondary Mathematics and am an ACA qualified accountant with 10 years of professional experience. I have one year of secondary school teaching experience and two years of tutoring GCSE Maths both online and in-person. My background equips me with the skills to provide high-quality and effective tutoring.
Target Audience:
My lessons are designed for secondary school students preparing for their GCSE Maths exams. I cater to students of various ages and skill levels, offering personalized guidance to help each student achieve their best.
