About Freddie
Hey there! I'm a fresh James Ruse graduate, avid guitar player and computer programmer who loves helping students enjoy and excel in mathematics. That's a big part of why I'm studying maths and the closely related computer science at UNSW, so I can offer greater insight and math experience as your tutor. I understand that learning isn't always the most exciting, which is why I go beyond thoroughly teaching content, to also cultivate an encouraging study environment that's crucial for academic success.
Personally, I was never the smartest at school. However, a persistent growth mindset was my biggest advantage, driving me out of the bottom 20% of my James Ruse cohort to an ATAR of 99.85, and HSC marks of 97 in Mathematics Extension 1 and 2.

To bolster your math results, I offer one-to-one lessons for all years of high-school maths. Our lessons will be tailored around the topics you want and need the most guidance with. Using my extensive understanding of the high-school syllabus on top of my university maths experience and plethora of exam-specific resources, I'll make sure you thoroughly understand the reasoning behind every concept. That means no more feeling unsure about those half-memorised formulae, so you can walk into that exam hall full of confidence. Even more so, I'll be there to answer your questions completely free of charge in the time outside of our lessons.
