About Becky

Hi, I'm Becky and I have been tutoring for 10 years. I have been a secondary maths teacher for 6 years. My degree is in Geography and I also teach sciences! I have an SEN diploma and a mental health Level 2 certificate and so I am confident in tutoring all abilities, ages, many subjects and many different needs! I am firm but fair and fun! I enjoy building a relationship with my students as I feel they do much better if we get on. I like to incorporate things into lessons that the student enjoys (especially in Geography). One of my strengths as a tutor is understanding the misconceptions that a child faces and giving detailed feedback to ensure that the mistakes can be corrected! In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading and learning German and Spanish.
