About Gayle
I graduated from Leeds University in 1997 and completed my PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages in 1998. Over the years, I have taught French from Key Stage 2 through to A level and also to adult learners looking to improve their language skills.
In 2008 I began tutoring in the evenings to fit around my family and I am still working as a tutor now.
I have had excellent exam results as a GCSE and A level tutor and very positive feedback from parents and students.
I am familiar with OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel exam boards and I have an excellent subject knowledge, always striving to get the best out of my students.

At every level that I teach, my lessons are tailored to each student. At Primary level, I would play more learning games, adult conversation lessons might start with a newspaper or magazine article to provoke a conversation, and at GCSE and A level, I would try to incorporate Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in every lesson where possible.
For exam classes, I am more than happy to read through any written work outside of lessons at no extra cost to students.
More importantly than anything else, learning a language should be enjoyable.
