About Daria

I have been dancing Bachata for over 4 years and I’m excited to share this beautiful art with you 🤍 During these years I trained with some of the best Bachata teachers in the world through international congresses, festivals, and private lessons. I’ve learned from Korke & Judith (Spain), Margarita & Johnny, Ofir & Ofri, and Cal & Lily here in Austin — and I continue to grow and refine my style every day. I have already taught more than 15 students, from complete beginners to intermediate dancers. I truly love seeing my students grow — not just in technique, but in confidence, connection, and self-expression. My goal is to help you feel comfortable on the dance floor, understand your body, and enjoy every moment of the dance. My lessons are always supportive, positive, and adapted to your personal goals. Whether you want to start from zero, improve your musicality, become a confident lead or follower, or feel more relaxed and expressive while dancing, I will guide you step by step. Come and experience the atmosphere of love, respect, and joy that Bachata brings. Let’s dance, grow, and create beautiful moments together!

About the lesson

My lessons go step by step, from easy to more advanced, in a way that feels natural and never stressful. I make sure every student understands what they are doing instead of just copying moves. I explain clearly, break things down, and guide you until it really clicks. I give real, practical tips that you can use right away on the social dance floor. We repeat and practice each movement until you reach that “aha” moment — when it finally feels smooth, comfortable, and yours. That’s when dancing becomes fun. My students always leave class feeling confident, happy, and excited to dance more. They come back again and again not only because they improve, but because the lessons feel positive, relaxed, and enjoyable.

Perfect! I'm the least coordinated person ever and don't even like dancing (lol)...I did it to try something new and because it's something my girlfriend is interested in doing. I'm thankful Daria and her b/f were extraordinarily patient and kind people. I highly recommend her if you're a complete beginner like me, or all the way to the expert level that they demonstrated capabilities to teach.

Perfect! I learn so much in my time with Daria! She has a wealth of knowledge and has been able to fill in the gaps in my dancing really quickly. As a lead especially, it's been very helpful having a teacher that generally knows where to go on each move - so I can fit my movements to match and do the right thing every time. 100% recommend!

It was such a pleasure and a lot of fun to teach you guys! I know it is always hard to start something new, but you were doing great and danced your very first bachata songs from the beginning till the end! I encourage you to keep going and enjoy bachata as much as I do! Looking forward to seeing you again in my class!

It was a great experience teaching Reetesh! He is very consistent and patient student. I feel like during sessions he improved a lot and became more confident, and this is the key point in any type of dancing! I hope you will keep practicing and see you on a dancefloor!
