About Alex
I graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class degree in Biomedical Science last year, giving me the academic knowledge to support my students. I am now undertaking a PhD at the University of Cambridge studying Neuroscience. With all this academic experience I really thrive on helping out younger students in achieving their academic goals and realising that academia/ exams does not need to be a daunting experience. I am also very friendly and happy to talk through any issues students may have or adaptations they may need in their lessons.

Alex was my tutor for chemistry and biology this year, and he was amazing, my marks improved and I got much more confident in the subjects after just a couple of months with him. He always had tailored lessons and bespoke material prepared especially for me to explain concepts in new and more interesting ways. Also, I was able to tell him that I'm a visual learner, and he made the material focused on diagrams and sketches to help me remember the details, which I really appreciated. He was very flexible as well - I was working a part time job with a schedule that changed every week and he was always able to accommodate me. I can't recommend him enough!
