About Natalie
Hello! I'm Natalie, a qualified Chemistry teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in secondary schools. I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Chemistry, along with a PGCE, and I have extensive experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Chemistry.
I became a tutor because I love helping students realise their potential. I understand that every student learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is personalised support and someone who can explain things in a different way for everything to click. Seeing students grow in confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve results they didn't think were possible is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
My lessons are friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're looking to boost your confidence, prepare for exams, or aim for the highest grades, I'll work with you to create a learning plan that helps you reach your goals. My aim is to make Chemistry enjoyable, build your confidence, and equip you with the knowledge and exam skills needed to succeed.

I believe every student can succeed in Chemistry with the right support, encouragement, and teaching approach. My tutoring sessions are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and goals, whether they are aiming to build confidence, improve their grades, or achieve top exam results.
I create a calm, supportive, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—an essential part of learning. I break down complex scientific concepts into manageable steps using clear explanations, worked examples, and exam-style practice to ensure students develop both a deep understanding of the subject and the skills needed to succeed in assessments.
As an experienced classroom teacher, I understand the demands of the GCSE and A-Level specifications and incorporate effective revision techniques, exam strategies, and regular feedback into every session. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to foster independence, resilience, and a genuine confidence in their ability to succeed.

KS3 Science: £35 per hour
GCSE Chemistry: £40 per hour
A-Level Chemistry: £50 per hour
