About Farhad
I hold a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry and have extensive experience teaching chemistry. In Iran, I taught chemistry courses at the university level. Since moving to Canada, I have been tutoring Chemistry 11 and 12 and selected university-level chemistry courses in North Vancouver.
I am also currently preparing students for the Canadian Chemistry Olympiad. My academic background and teaching experience help me explain challenging concepts clearly and develop students' problem-solving skills.
I teach in both English and Persian, which can be especially helpful for bilingual and Persian-speaking students studying chemistry in Canada.

I teach Chemistry 11 and 12 based on the BC curriculum, focusing on conceptual understanding and strong problem-solving skills. I personalize lessons to each student's needs, including course support, homework help, test preparation, and review of difficult topics.
I teach in English and Persian. For Persian-speaking students, I can explain difficult concepts in Farsi while maintaining English scientific terminology.
Lessons are available online or in person in a quiet study/amenity room in North Vancouver. Scheduling is flexible and arranged based on my current teaching schedule and the student's availability.
