About Samson

I am a dedicated and experienced science tutor with over 15 years of teaching Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics. My focus has always been simple: help students understand what they are learning and achieve strong results without confusion or stress.

My academic background includes a degree in Human Physiology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Biochemistry, along with a certification in General Chemistry. This foundation allows me to teach with depth, clarity and real understanding, not just surface explanations.

Over the years, I have worked with secondary school students and early university students, helping many of them move from struggling to becoming top performers in their classes and exams. In 2024, two of my students ranked among the best in the UTME and earned scholarships into Nigerian universities. Many others have consistently performed at a high level in their schools.

My teaching style is structured, patient and practical. I break complex topics into simple steps, use relatable examples, and guide students through problem solving until they gain confidence. I also focus on exam techniques, helping students approach questions correctly and avoid common mistakes.

I teach students at secondary school, high school and first year university level. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, or improving your overall performance, I will work with you step by step until you see real progress.

I take my work seriously and I am committed to every student I teach. My goal is not just to teach, but to make sure you truly understand and succeed.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make chemistry and other science subjects clear, structured and easy to follow, even if you have struggled with them before.

I begin by understanding your current level, your challenges and your goals. This allows me to tailor each lesson to what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student learns differently, and I adjust my teaching style to match how you learn best.

A typical lesson is well organised and focused. We start with a quick review of previous work to strengthen your foundation. Then I introduce the topic step by step, breaking it down into simple, logical parts. I use clear explanations, practical examples and guided problem solving so you understand not just what to do, but why you are doing it.

You will not just watch me teach. You will actively participate. I ask questions, give you practice tasks and guide you through solutions until you can solve problems confidently on your own. This is how real understanding is built.

For exam preparation, I go beyond teaching the topic. I train you on how to approach questions, manage time and avoid common mistakes. This gives you an advantage during tests and exams.

What makes my method different is the balance between clarity, structure and patience. I do not rush through topics. I make sure you understand each concept before moving forward. Over time, you will notice that topics that once seemed difficult start to feel simple and logical.

My goal is for you to leave every lesson with more confidence, better understanding and steady progress.

I shared a workspace with Samson, and I watched him turn tough chemistry ideas into something students could actually grasp. He stays calm, shows up prepared, and pays close attention to each learner’s progress. Many who once avoided chemistry began to engage with it under his guidance.

Samson is one of the most effective chemistry tutors I’ve seen. My younger brother struggled badly with the subject, and even with my background in applied chemistry, I couldn’t get through to him. Samson made it simple, clear, and practical and the results speak for themselves. Today, my brother is a lecturer in a nursing school.

If you’re looking for someone who truly understands how to teach and get results, Samson is a solid choice.

I’m happy to vouch for Samson as an excellent tutor.

He coached me in Chemistry and Biology during my WAEC preparation in 2009/2010, and his approach made even the toughest topics easy to grasp. He was calm, thorough, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure I understood each lesson.

His support played a key role in my success in the exams. Any student learning under him will gain both confidence and solid understanding.
