About Erica
My background is Administrative Management and I did my graduate study in Environmental Policy for two years in Newfoundland. I started my Chinese teaching there. I taught Mandarin for students from Japan, Korea and Canada, but actually my first language is Cantonese!

I am especially interested in learning languages. I grew up in a bilingual family and I have the gift to distinguish the minor difference between different languages. It proves that by noticing the differences help non-native speakers pronounce much better!
The most funny thing I found is that, Cantonese has nine different tones while Mandarin has five. But English speakers actually learn Cantonese more easily than Mandarin.
