As a doctor with 5 years of experience teaching Biology to O/A Level students, I take a clear, student-centred approach to tutoring. My aim is not simply to help students memorise Biology, but to ensure they genuinely understand the concepts and can confidently apply their knowledge in examinations.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I explain difficult concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way, using diagrams, real-life medical examples, active questioning and discussion to make Biology more engaging and memorable. I also focus on exam technique, past-paper practice, mark-scheme requirements and identifying areas where students need further improvement.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although lessons can be adapted depending on the student’s age, level and individual requirements. I usually begin by reviewing previous material, introduce and explain new concepts, and then reinforce learning through questions and exam-style practice.
I am a qualified medical doctor with 5 years of experience teaching Biology to students preparing for O/A Level examinations. My medical background also allows me to bring real-world clinical examples into lessons, helping students understand how Biology relates to the human body and medicine.
My online lessons are suitable for O/A Level Biology students of different abilities, whether they are looking to strengthen their foundations, improve their grades, prepare for examinations, or achieve top marks. I welcome students who are motivated to learn and am happy to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual student.
