About Angela

I am a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University, pursuing my Master's in biomedical engineering. I received my Bachelor's from Saint Louis University in electrical engineering with a concentration in bioelectronics. Since graduation, I have been furthering my education and working as a lead engineer for a start up company designing medical devices. I also spent the last year teaching at a college electrical courses. Throughout my undergraduate education career, I taught elementary school children science. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Science, Math, Technology, and Engineering. In my experience most students dislike the STEM related courses, so I tend to make them more fun and interesting by conducting fun demonstrations and making the material more relatable to each student. I am a firm believer in education and try to inspire students into pursuing STEM related courses and careers. I absolutely love what I do as an engineer and educator, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. My overall goal in life is to help people and be a life-long learner.

About the lesson

My lesson plans will be unique and customized to each individual student. My lesson plans will include the following: explanation of certain coding techniques and formalities, practice problems, and coding examples.

I am also willing to tutor programming courses similar to the structure of the student's instructor. Tutor sessions will include, but not limited to: homework help, project help, further explanation on topic, and test preparation.

Coding is one of my passions and I am versatile in many various languages from software to hardware. I am willing to share my tips, tricks, and expertise that I have gained from my own education experience and work experience. My goal is to help my student become a proficient coder in any language on any platform desirable.
