About Sammy
I first became interested in language learning and teaching while I attended a Spanish conversation group at my local library. I learned that there was another class called “Let’s Speak English” - and that they were in need of an instructor. I volunteered, and a few weeks later I began leading sessions. This was a conversation group so the aim was to be as practical as possible. I started this when I was 20 years old, and for the last 6 years I’ve helped over 50 people improve their English skills. My passion for the subject has inspired me to pursue a certificate in TESOL. I’m excited to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may look like.

For some, it could mean discussing conversation questions that I have prepared. For others, it could be reviewing your homework or preparing for an exam. In our first few sessions together, we will discuss your expectations and create a plan to help accomplish them!
