Experienced English teacher of 20 years, including Head of English in an outstanding school. Specialist with 11-18 years old in all aspects of British Curriculum and preparation for GCSE and A Level.

After my son struggled in his mocks, we asked Jo to tutor him online, which fit perfectly around our routine. She went above and beyond during his study leave, always accommodating extra sessions where possible.

Thanks to Jo’s expert guidance and my son’s hard work, his English Language jumped up by 2 grades and his English Literature by 4 grades in his summer exams! Her deep subject knowledge and clear exam techniques made a huge difference in such a short timeframe. We couldn't recommend Jo more highly.

After a long search for the right tutor for my daughter to help her prepare for GCSE, I would recommend Jo without any hesitation. My daughter needed someone, who would have lots of experience in teaching as well as working with children who need a bit extra support. Jo is dedicated and working very hard to ensure my daughter makes progress with learning towards GCSE's next year. I also receive regular feedback, which helps me to understand how my daughter is progressing. Thank you Jo

Jo has been taking sessions for our children (year 11, year 5) for some time now and both of them have given very good feedback. She has made the curriculum intersting and easy for them.
