About Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah, an English tutor based in Kuala Lumpur with a passion for building confidence as much as building skills.
I know firsthand what it feels like to struggle with a language. Growing up attending Chinese school, I faced the challenge of learning Mandarin while watching others speak it effortlessly around me. I know the self-doubt, the embarrassment, and the way it quietly chips away at your confidence especially when it comes to a language as widely spoken and judged as English.
That experience is exactly why I teach the way I do. More than grammar and essays, my goal is to create a space where my students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. Because mistakes are not failures in fact they are how language is learned.
I bring genuine patience, personal understanding, and a tailored approach to every session. No two students are the same, and I never teach them like they are. Whether you are a young child finding your footing, a secondary student preparing for SPM, or an adult looking to communicate with more confidence, I will meet you exactly where you are.
English does not have to feel intimidating. With the right support, it can feel natural and even enjoyable.

Hi, I'm Sarah! I believe every student learns differently, and that's exactly how I teach — no cookie-cutter lessons here.
Whether you're a primary school kid struggling with basic grammar, a secondary student trying to ace your SPM, or a university student who needs help structuring essays and assignments, I've got you covered.
My approach is simple: I figure out how YOU absorb information best either through examples, repetition, visual breakdowns, or just having someone explain it in a way that finally makes sense and I teach to that. Every single session is personalised to your level, your goals, and your pace.
Each lesson is one hour long, focused and productive, with no time wasted. I keep things engaging because I know how quickly attention slips when something feels boring or too difficult.
I have prior teaching experience and a genuine passion for the English language. I've helped people build confidence in speaking, writing, and understanding English and I know how to make the process feel less intimidating and a lot more achievable.
