About Kayla
My first teaching experience was in high school, where I helped my English teacher prepare my classmates for the university entrance exam. This was a paid role, and I put in my full effort—resulting in a noticeable improvement in their scores. That experience made me realize my passion for teaching. My own journey to mastering English was long and challenging, filled with self-doubt and setbacks. These experiences have made me a patient and empathetic teacher who understands the struggles students face and supports them every step of the way.

I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual learning style, making sure lessons are engaging, effective, and suited to their goals. I start by understanding how each student learns best so I can create a personalised learning plan. I also believe teaching is a two-way process, and I learn a lot from my students too. However, from my experience, I noticed that reading aloud is one of the most effective ways to improve pronunciation and overall fluency.
