About Fatima
I have over 10 years’ experience teaching Professionals (Engineers, Scientists, Bankers) in a work environment. I also have tutored School children for over four years, of which English was one of the subjects. Their age groups ranged from 6 years to 19 years.
I loved tutoring students as I could see a marked improvement in their understanding and level of English and other subjects, as I had tutored them for more than four years.
I also tutored bro-bono students in my community for over eight years. I used many different aids for making teaching easier for the students to understand, some of which were Realia, Flashcards, Posters, Mini CD player, etc.

I use various teaching methods, depending on the students' age, level and backgrounds. I mainly use the TPR method, along with the PPP technique, using Realia, Flashcards, mini CD player, etc. I have a clear objective for my lesson and always plan and review my lessons. I also like to get my students engaged and involved immediately. I prepare plenty of pair and group work activities. I also believe in a reward system for my students.
