About Lily
I've been tutoring LSAT for 3 years, and working with students from around the world on their college and graduate school admissions applications for 6 years.
Teaching Style:
Patient, structured, and strategy-focused. I prioritize understanding why an answer is correct so students can replicate success independently.
Ideal Student:
Non-traditional applicants, career changers, public interest–minded students, or anyone who feels intimidated by the LSAT and wants a calm, empowering approach.

I’m an LSAT tutor specializing in helping non-traditional and public-interest–minded students master the test with confidence and clarity.
I approach the LSAT as a skills-based exam, not a measure of innate intelligence. My teaching focuses on understanding how the test writers think, building repeatable strategies for each question type, and helping students develop the calm, disciplined mindset needed to perform under pressure.
Before tutoring, I worked in government and political strategy, where clear reasoning, precise language, and high-stakes decision-making were daily requirements. That experience shapes how I teach: I break complex problems into manageable parts, explain the why behind every strategy, and adapt quickly to each student’s learning style.
What students can expect from working with me:
A personalized study plan based on a diagnostic and your goals
Clear, intuitive explanations of Logical Reasoning, Reading Comp, and Logic Games
Timed practice review that actually improves performance (not just explanations after the fact)
Support for test anxiety, confidence, and consistency
Accountability and structure—especially helpful for busy or non-traditional students
I especially enjoy working with career changers, first-generation law school applicants, and students pursuing public interest or social justice paths, though I work with students from all backgrounds.
I offer a free introductory session to assess fit, identify strengths and weaknesses, and map out next steps. My goal is not just a higher score, but helping you feel in control of the test.
