About Sam

I am a 23 year old Musician, Singer/Song-Writer and 1 of 2 Frontmen for the band 'Hot Liquor Tank'. I have played various shows/festivals around the UK as well as bars, weddings and private events. My musical influences/genre can be defined into Pop Rock, Indie Rock and Brit Rock coming from bands such as Stereophonics, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Kings Of Leon, AC/DC, just to name a few! As an artist myself, I also create my own music through my solo work and with 'Hot Liquor Tank' inspired by the bands above. As an individual I'm fun, reliable, encouraging, hardworking, approachable and aim to inspire each person I work with, to love playing the guitar or singing as much as I do!

About the lesson

My lessons are for Acoustic/Electric guitarists of any age, who are just starting out and wanting to learn chords and songs from their favourite Artists/Bands. I adopt a NO one size fits all attitude and work closely with the individual to understand what they want from each session and how we can go about achieving that.

I’ve had my first lesson today with Sam and he’s honestly been the best tutor I’ve ever had for anything! He’s so helpful with me learning at my own pace and repeating the same chords over and over again! Really supportive and encouraging, can’t recommend enough!!!

Sam has been playing guitar as long as I’ve known him and I’ve seen him learn and progress and become a skilled musician as the years have gone by. I have even played on stage with Sam in front of a sizeable crowd and the songs he releases are getting more popular and more attention with the catchy rhythms he comes up with.
