About Shruthi
Hello! I’m an experienced Biology and Chemistry educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. I have taught students across IB, IGCSE and A-Level curricula, helping them develop both strong subject knowledge and confidence in their abilities.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, which has given me a strong foundation in both Chemistry and Biology. Over the years, I have particularly enjoyed helping students understand challenging scientific concepts and develop the ability to apply their knowledge rather than simply memorize facts.
As a teacher, I believe every student learns differently. I therefore adapt my teaching style to suit each student's needs, learning pace and academic goals. I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning from their mistakes.
I look forward to helping students discover that Biology and Chemistry can be interesting, logical and enjoyable subjects!

With over 10 years of teaching experience, I help students develop a clear and confident understanding of Biology and Chemistry across IB, IGCSE and A-Level curricula. My teaching is student-centred and focuses on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. I use visual explanations, real-life examples, practical applications and past-paper questions to make challenging topics easier to understand.
Lessons are personalised according to each student's strengths, weaknesses and learning pace. I also support IB students with Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, data analysis and scientific investigation skills. Whether the goal is improving grades, preparing for examinations or developing deeper subject understanding, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
