About Sophia
Hi! I’m Sophia, a passionate musical theater performer and teacher who loves helping others discover their confidence and creativity through performance. I have 7 years of performance experience and a lifelong background in singing and musical theater.
I graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, where I majored in Musical Theater, and I am currently pursuing my B.A. in Musical Theater at the University of Nevada, Reno. My experience in acting, singing, improv, and musical theater has taught me that every performer has their own strengths and learning style.
I strive to create a welcoming and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things, and growing as performers. Whether you are just starting out or preparing for your next audition, I’m excited to help you develop your skills and confidence.

Hi! I’m Sophia, a musical theatre performer and teacher with 7 years of performance experience. I teach acting, improv, singing, and musical theatre in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. My teaching approach is personalized to each student’s goals, experience level, and learning style.
A typical lesson may include warm-ups, acting or vocal exercises, improvisation games, scene or monologue work, and personalized feedback. For students preparing for auditions, we can also work on monologues, character development, confidence, and stage presence.
I graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Arts as a Musical Theatre major and am currently pursuing my B.A. in Musical Theatre at the University of Nevada, Reno. I bring both formal musical theatre training and years of hands-on performance experience to my lessons.
My lessons are great for beginners, students with some performance experience, and aspiring musical theatre performers. Whether you want to build confidence, prepare for an audition, or simply have fun learning theatre, I’ll help you develop your skills in a way that feels comfortable and enjoyable.

Details
My rate is $35 per hour for beginner-to-intermediate acting, improv, singing, and musical theatre lessons. I tailor each lesson to the student’s current experience level, goals, and interests.
Lessons may include acting fundamentals, improvisation exercises, monologue and scene work, character development, vocal exercises, musical theatre performance, and building confidence on stage. Students do not need previous theatre experience to get started.
My goal is to create a fun and supportive environment where beginners can learn the fundamentals and intermediate students can continue developing their skills. Whether you are trying theatre for the first time, preparing for a school audition, or looking to become more confident as a performer, lessons will be adjusted to meet you where you are.
