About Joey

I’m Joey—a former Apple creative, mindfulness coach, and professional photographer with over a decade of experience. My work blends emotional depth with visual storytelling, helping people feel seen and confident in front of the camera. I specialize in guiding individuals to connect with themselves through mindful mobile photography and authentic portrait experiences. Whether you’re a beginner or simply want to photograph with more intention, I offer a calm, supportive, and creative space for learning.

About the lesson

My lessons combine technical guidance with mindfulness techniques to help you capture images that reflect real emotion and presence. For portraits, I teach composition, natural lighting, and how to bring out authentic expression. For mobile photography, I show you how to use your phone as a tool for storytelling, reflection, and mindful observation. Each session is tailored to your goals—whether you’re looking to photograph people, elevate your Instagram, or create a personal visual diary. Open to all levels; no prior experience or fancy equipment needed.
