I’m a retired university professor with over 25 years of experience teaching physics and mathematics. I bring decades of classroom and mentoring experience from university and high school levels. My goal is to make science and math not only understandable but enjoyable. I tailor each lesson to the student’s needs whether you're preparing for exams, building foundational understanding, or aiming to boost your grades. I offer calm, patient, and encouraging support, especially for students who feel overwhelmed or anxious about science or math. As an expert physics teacher with over 25 years of academic experience, my approach is one of transparency, structure, and engagement. I provide calm, patient, and encouraging support, especially for students who are feeling confused or anxious about science or math.
I offered online lessons. I’m happy to teach in person at [Richmond Hill, Aurora, King City and Newmarket] Public Library branches for a quiet, resource-rich setting.
*Please note: I do not offer lessons at students’ homes.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's goals and current level. However, a typical session includes a brief review, a core lesson, interactive problem solving, and Q&A + explanation. I often include additional resources such as charts, videos, or practice sheets for further learning at home.
