About Guillermo
Unlike most studios and teachers in the LA area, I bring years of conservatory training to the table. Instead of focusing on a particular methodology, I have spent the better part of my career researching and practicing different styles of acting. Acting is a deeply personal and individualized art, and the actor's journey is finding what works best for him or her. I am confident in my mastery of different styles, and I can help you find and develop your own individual approach.
I love pushing the boundaries of what I know further and further with each project, and I find that teaching is an excellent tool for both teacher and student to keep exploring what it means to be an actor.
I have a BA in Theatre from the University of Notre Dame and an MFA in Acting from Temple University. I also completed a Certification in Teaching in Higher Education at Temple. As part of my training, I have also completed many different workshops including, but not limited to, stage combat, Shakespeare, comedy, film acting, audition technique, etc.
