About Brennan
I am currently in my senior year at Purdue University pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I have always had an inclination towards teaching and have had experience in high school and college to tutor or be a teaching assistant.
I look forward to helping you become more successful in whatever area of school you are looking to improve and will help you to better understand the core concepts of your subject, allowing you to apply them to whatever assignments you are given.
It was not exactly by design. In high school, because of my math success, I was asked by my teachers if I were interested in helping out some of their struggling students in their other classes and I agreed to help them.
In college, I signed up to become a teaching assistant for one of my computer science classes in which I was able to host office hours which students could join to get help from me.
I have a high school diploma and have one semester remaining before achieving a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.

First I want to get to know my student. I want to know the students interests in school and out of school and learn about them as a human being.
Then I like to learn about where they are at in school and what they might be struggling with and let them suggest to me how they feel I can help them.
Based on the information I gather, I'll then transition into my actual tutoring/help and begin to target the areas of struggle that they are experiencing.
I have worked with high school and college students.
