Whether you’re looking to build on your current skill or start from the very beginning fundamentals, I would love the opportunity to help improve your son or daughter’s game. Not only on the court, but what it takes off the court to keep that passion throughout school and as they grow.
Indiana University graduate w/ degree in Sports Communication and Kinesiology.
Recently relocated to Orlando area (Winter Garden) with my wife and two children.

I love helping athletes reach their FULL potential. I push them to their limits and really stress the important of game speed in training. Practices MUST be harder than games.
I want you to feel comfortable working with me. Here are some of my social accounts to help you feel more comfortable with my ability training your son/daughter.
Sessions are 90 minutes - I look to be a one-stop-shop for your basketball needs. I will break down each session using a combination of not only skill development and game-like drills, but also plyometrics, mobility, recovery basics, strength training, and more!
I break the session down in this format give or take a few minutes.
Warm-Up & Mobility 10 min Dynamic warm-up, plyometrics, mobility drills
Speed & Agility 15 min Footwork, acceleration, reaction time
Skill Development 25 min Ball handling, shooting, finishing
Game-Like Drills 15 min Situational play, decision-making
Strength Training 15 min Functional lifts, power & core work
Cool Down/Stretching 10 min Static stretching, breathing
*Sessions will be based on the needs of the athlete. I am willing to either build on your current techniques and skills or build you from the ground up as a new player.
Started as a Varsity Assistant Coach in Indianapolis area, then moved to Florida, beginning one on one training. My father was my coach growing up. Always have had a passion for coaching.
Kinesiology Degree from Indiana University. I have been both a player and coach - both one on one and varsity level.

First session I try and find out what the athlete's goals are short term and long term. I will develop a workout and session plan depending on their needs and wants.
Elementary - Jr. High - High school - College - Peofessional
Find a good fit. I’m not a good fit for everyone, but I hope to be a good fit for your son or daughter. I think there needs to be a connection and trust with the coach. Find that.
A group training that really helped build the confidence of 5 young hoopers. It really showed them we all still make mistakes while learning the game. We all miss shots. Be confident in your abilities and play the next play.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Be open to constructive criticism. If you have questions, sometimes young athletes don’t like the answers or truth. Be more worried when a coach lies to you or isn’t on your tail about something. Thats when he doesn’t care. A tough coach is a coach that cares and wants to see you reach your full potential.

Perfect! The training is very well organized and Josh is able to break down the needs for my individual sons.
Perfect! This was our first time using this website and it was so easy. We immediately received a response from Josh on our request for basketball training. We scheduled our first training for our 8 yo son this past Sunday. This was only a few days after our request. Josh was very thorough and attentive to our son during training. Our son loved Josh because he was challenged and learned so much in just his first session. We would highly recommend Josh for training!!

Josh is a great coach. He is easy to work with when it comes to scheduling. He is always prepared for the workouts. The workouts are tough, but they pay off. My son was awarded MVP of his team this past season after working with Josh! Thanks, Josh!
Coach Joshua in only one session was able to provide my boys with effective drills to improve their ball handling skills. They were excited to learn something new, and enjoyed working in a fast paced environment. After the session, both of them continued to practice on their own, and were excited about learning new drills. He was very accommodating in finding a location closer to our area, and being ready to go when we arrived. We will definitely reach out in the future!
Great range of workouts! Dribbling and shooting drills brought immediate improvement.

Josh is an excellent coach for all levels. I initially began working with Coach Josh for my own basketball skills and I was so impressed I hired him to start working with my son (14 years old). In addition to being an excellent coach, more importantly, he is a very good role model for my teenage son. (A very rare things nowadays). He is able to instill both basketball and life skills at the same time. (He is also a very nice guy-he let's me beat him sometimes).
Josh is great, Lucas loves the classes and always looks forward to the next training session. Highly recommended!

Coach Josh develops plans that are specific to the players needs. Our sons skills have drastically improved. He is encouraging, patient and knows how to make learning fun.
Coach Joshua does a great job working my son, who loves basketball but lacks the experience and fundamentals at 14 that he needs to be competitive against his peers. Coach Joshua’s vast knowledge of the game and positive attitude motivates my son to work hard and more importantly, stay focused. He provides clear instruction as he coaches the fundamentals and throws in some tips and games to keep it fun. His feedback is detailed and drives my son to push himself to the next level. My son has had six sessions so far and is looking forward to his next session.
