About Terri
With a Bachelors degree in Biology (Pre-Med), minors in Psychology and Chemistry, and a Masters degree in Molecular Genetics, I am well trained academically to understand answers to common Biology topics and am resourceful enough to decipher what I may have forgotten. As a stay-at-home mom with three children who are now accomplishing higher level learning with scholarship at major universities, I understand what it takes to encourage achievement. However, as a mom of a son with High Functioning Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia, I also know firsthand the challenge of studying Junior High and High School level science in a way that makes sense and visualizes the concepts for the student.
I am a natural teacher and coach! I love to help others achieve their personal goals and I am passionate about education and learning! I enjoy the challenge of finding the best way to learn and am excited by the psychology of the human mind.
Education: Bachelor of Science/Master of Science
Training: taught 5-8th grade Math/Science for one year after 6 years in laboratory research between Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Procter & Gamble.
Raised three children with varied interests and personalities through private education, two of whom are in college and one in high school yet.
Coached volleyball at junior high and high school levels to both girls and boys.
I volunteered as a Success Coach with Dress For Success, helping guide disadvantaged women towards employment and financial independence.
I love to motivate and encourage the best in others!!
