About Debra
I teach the “World of Food”. You don’t just see how to cook you learn how to prepare food and eat it. My motto is “Use food as your medicine or medicine will be your food.” Enjoy all the foods you like...moderation is the key.
I am a caterer, event planner and food instructor. All of my meals are fresh ingredients. I work with non-profits as well as private clients. I love what I do and now I want to take it to the next level and I’m willing to try this new venture.
I was asked to come in and teach high schoolers the basic foundations of cooking and how to navigate in a kitchen and it went from there. They told their parents (who began to request me) and the high school teachers did the same with their family and friends and it has grown from their.
I been in the field for over 30 years. I’ve worked with private clients and large organizations such as By The Hand Kids Club in Chicago and KIDS ACROSS AMERICA locates in Missouri. My client base has been word of mouth and I’ve been very successful. I am self taught (well actually grandma taught). I am a versatile cook, I believe every culture should be experienced.
