About Lisa
Beginning the 13th year in business. Offering fun dance classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hiphop, and creative movement. Non competitive, fun atmosphere. Low monthly tuition, no registration fees, no recital fees.
My name is Lisa Weeks, I am the owner of the Turning Pointe Dance Studio located in Victor, NY. I have been in business for 13 yrs. Before opening my own dance studio I assisted dance lessons for several yrs. I also attended SUNY Brockport majoring in Dance.
It was always a dream of mine to open my own dance studio, and be able to share my love of dance with children. With hopes that they will receive the same fulfillment that dance has brought me. There is no better way to express ones self then through the beautiful art of dance.
My parents put me in dance at a very young age and I simply fell in love with it. My dance teacher asked me to assist her with some of her larger dance classes and that's where I began teaching.
I have been dancing since the age of 3. I have assisted many dance classes since the age of 14 before opening my own studio at 24. I also attended SUNY Brockport majoring in Dance.

As a teacher it is very important to show patience. I always have a new student come in and simply try the class first, so that they feel more comfortable and so that I can see their level and if the class is a right fit for them, or if I should move them to a higher or lower level.
I have worked with all students and levels, and also some with physical disabilities to help them grow motor skills, aging from 3 & up
Take a class with the teacher first, to see if you like their style of teaching and if you feel comfortable
