Andie is an excellent instructor and I've enjoyed learning from someone with such talent. The friendly personalities of Andie and the students make the classes and workshops a fun experience.

I love the knowledge of the instructor and the ability to grow and learn from the instructor as well as fellow artists. From trying new paper or learning a new technique to achieve the texture of wood or glass or chrome , each week is an adventure on paper.

It put me in a different place then I normally experience. It has been great to get to know new people. The experience of watching others complete their projects is stimulating. Andria does a great job of setting up the space within which we work. She is able to communicate ideas for improving our drawings very effectively. I like the fact that she adapts to our individual needs and we are not all doing the same drawing.

I’ve learned so much from Michiyo. She has an amazing ability tocolor and she has increased my awareness of the color possibilities in an object adding richness to the finished work.

I also have enjoyed getting to know her and the other ladies in the classes.

Beginners always amaze me. How quickly they take direction and desire to improve, They have come in with really no experience and created beautiful pieces of art. It takes some time but the patient teaching staff really pulls the best out of everyone. I am now in my eighth year at Beachtree so that must say something for the excellent quality instruction.

I have been take lessons from Andie since fall of 2016 and have learned so much. You will get a true education here and be surrounded by fellow students who encourage each other. It is as if there is an unwritten law here to leave any ego at the door. It's a pleasure to be one of Andie's students.

Andria is the ultimate teacher. And her classes teach you so much! All within a great community, with incredibly talented artists, and excellent music. I'm hooked on drawing! I can't get enough, and love the mindful experience away from my computer graphics.

I met Andie 6yrs ago at the fine art show in St. Charles and I’ve never been the same. I loved the classes so much I retired and fell totally in love with colored penci drawing. She help me build up my confidence and develop my skills. I now live in Sun City Hilton Head, SC which has a very active art club. I have won several ribbons and attribute my talent to Andie.

Andria gave me the best instructions I have ever received from a teacher. She is always positive and encouraging and at the same time prompting you to grow and stretch! I have continued doing colored pencil artwork in Naples, Fl. Whenever I am working Andria is with me. We are friends and the positive experiences I had in her classes are always with me!

When I first came to Beech Tree two years ago, I really didn't know what to expect. I found my first few classes both intimidating and inspiring. But with instruction, guidance and expertise from Andie, along with the welcoming support of my classmates, I have learned so much and enjoyed this new interest immensely. Beech Tree Studio has added an exciting and valuable element to my life that was missing before. I always loved art but I never had the capacity to produce any real work. Beech Tree taught me exactly how to draw and create a successful piece. Now I draw almost every day and find it very fulfilling. Also it is fun to go to class and meet other students and talk while we work. Everyone who comes to the classes produces beautiful, successful work. Because of Beech Tree Studio I can finally call myself a real artist!

Andie is both teacher and mentor. She has guided me but has also given me the freedom to discover on my own. I did not know or believe I had any artistic talent when I came to her but she made me believe in myself. What a gift it has been to discover a side of me I did not know existed.
