About Alexandra
Although I only have my high school diploma (currently working on my AA), I am passionate about helping students better their essay writing skills. I know what it's like to struggle when it comes to writing essays which gives me a better understanding on how to help students get into better essay habits. I've helped many of my classmates write essays from high school English classes to college accounting classes. I honestly love writing and reading essays and am always eager to lend a helping hand.
I would like to be a teacher upon college graduation, so I've taken every opportunity to teach or help my peers.
I have a high school diploma, but I have always had a passion for English and writing. I have helped many of my friends write their essays for classes and I do a lot of writing in my own spare time.

I like to get to know the student and make sure he/she feels comfortable with me first. Then, I like to pinpoint the struggle area so we know where to start and where to put most of our focus. Knowing what the student struggles with also helps us form a plan that works best for him/her.
I've worked with my three younger sisters and my peers as I went through school. The levels I've helped with have ranged from third grade to college level courses.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Instead of saying "I don't understand this" or "I don't get this", really consider if maybe it's only a particular part that isn't understood.

Details
Considering I don't have a degree in English or teaching, I wouldn't expect to earn much. My main goal is to help students gain confidence and comfortability in his/her writing ability. I would only charge 5$ -10$ an hour.
