About Peyton
Hello! My name is Peyton and I am a senior at UNC Charlotte. I am studying Middle Grades Education and will be certified to teach both English Language Arts and Social Studies. I am passionate about working with students and want a chance to practice using my skills. I am still a student myself, so I have a good understanding of what teachers are looking for and how to help students progress in these subjects.
I love working with children, especially older students. I really enjoy helping students progress from where they are at, as well as helping them find something enjoyable in a subject they may dislike.
I have worked with children in and outside of the classroom. Inside the classroom, I have assissted teachers and taught my own lessons in preparation for my student teaching semester this fall (and my future career as a teacher beginning next spring!). As an education student, I have learned countless teaching strategies that will help my online tutoring services. I have also taken multiple English and History classes, in which I learn the content and learn how to teach it!
